Exploring direction
through sound.

Can the microphones already in our phones help us understand where a drone is coming from? That’s the question behind Acustico.

An everyday device.
A question worth exploring.

Acustico is an early-stage project founded by Ahmet Tatlı. We are exploring the use of cellphone microphones to estimate the direction of drones from their sound.

The project began in July 2026. Our focus is on investigating the idea and understanding what can be achieved with microphones people already carry.

Currently in development. This page introduces the project; it does not represent a released or validated detection product.

Let’s talk about Acustico.
